AIG Hospitals has officially announced its first expansion outside Hyderabad with a ₹2,000 crore greenfield multispecialty campus in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Following a foundation ceremony led by AP Minister Nara Lokesh and AIG Chairman Dr. D Nageshwar Reddy, the 11.5-acre, 1,000-bed facility will integrate clinical care across 50+ specialties with advanced medical education and research. Phase 1 is slated for completion by October 2028, featuring modular operating rooms, 150 critical-care beds, and a 50-bed emergency department alongside an AI center, research labs, and academic institutes. At full capacity, the campus will employ 9,000 personnel, including 1,000 physicians.
